Free flu vaccine 2017

  • Check if you are eligible - Click here:  Who-should-have-flu-vaccine
  • all children in reception class and school years 1, 2, 3 and 4 (born between 1 September 2008 and 31 August 2013) will be offered the vaccine by their School Nurse but those who ALSO have a long-term health condition may choose to attend surgery instead

  • Flu appointments are available to book using Patient Partner 24/7 Automated telephone booking (no password needed), or your SystmOnline account, or via reception

Patient Partner 24/7 Automated Telephone system.  

Book a new appointment using just the buttons on your telephone - you do not need a PIN.   Telephone the surgery day or night and choose Option 1.  If you also follow the instructions to create a Patient Partner PIN you will be able to use the system to order repeat prescriptions and check /change / cancel existing appointments.

Home Visits

Doctor's bag Visits from a doctor telephone 01273 770555, choose Option 2 for Reception,  then Option 1 for Home Visits.

If you need to see a doctor and are unable to attend the surgery, please telephone before 11:00 if possible. 

 

Home visits are only for people who are genuinely housebound. This means people who, for medical reasons, cannot use private or public transport to attend the surgery. 

 

Home visits are made at the discretion of the doctor. A doctor may telephone you first to decide if a visit is necessary.

Emergencies

In the case of suspected heart attack, stroke, difficulty breathing, severe trauma, burns, bleeding or other emergency conditions do not telephone the surgery. Telephone the emergency services on 999.
