Free flu vaccine 2017

  • Check if you are eligible - Click here:  Who-should-have-flu-vaccine
  • all children in reception class and school years 1, 2, 3 and 4 (born between 1 September 2008 and 31 August 2013) will be offered the vaccine by their School Nurse but those who ALSO have a long-term health condition may choose to attend surgery instead

  • Flu appointments are available to book using Patient Partner 24/7 Automated telephone booking (no password needed), or your SystmOnline account, or via reception

Patient Partner 24/7 Automated Telephone system.  

Book a new appointment using just the buttons on your telephone - you do not need a PIN.   Telephone the surgery day or night and choose Option 1.  If you also follow the instructions to create a Patient Partner PIN you will be able to use the system to order repeat prescriptions and check /change / cancel existing appointments.

Surgery Clinical Pharmacy team

The surgery employs a Clinical Pharmacist, Pharmacy Technician, and Pharmacy Clerk to help manage our patients's prescription requests, medication reviews and changes efficiently and safely. 

Our Clinical Pharmacist also does Pill Checks and some Annual Reviews of long term conditions such as Diabetes.

Our in-house Clinical Pharmacist team is completely independent from the dispensing chemist which is located in our building (Charter Pharmacy run by Ackers)

Rebecca Brown (f)

Practice Clinical Pharmacist 

Rebecca helps the surgery to ensure that your medications are reviewed and are kept up to date, for instance after a stay in hospital.  Rebecca also does some telephone and face to face reviews for patients with Long Term Conditions,  such as Diabetes.  Rebecca also sees patients for Pill Checks.

Emilia will be supporting our Clinical Pharmacist.


The administrative team work on many aspects of medical administration including registrations, typing referrals, recall for chronic diseases, updating and maintaining medical records on the computer and keeping your address details up to date.

We have a large reception team who deal with all patient enquiries; in addition to the two or three receptionists who may be present at the front desk, we usually have up to four further receptionists dedicated to answering calls in our telephone room upstairs.
